Medela Comfort Maternity Nursing Bra - Nude - Extra Large Customer Review: relief from blocked ducts
I am nursing twins and the extra milk produced makes a big difference. I never had a problem with blocked ducts with my singletons, but with the twins I was getting them all the time. They were very painful and of course would sometimes get infected. I tried sleep bras and lots of other bras by Medela as well as other brands, but all of them gave me blocked ducts by pressing on me at some point. Only this bra managed to give support without creating pressure points that caused blockages. Every now and then I wear one of the other bras, but every time I do it I get blockages. These bras also go in the washer and dryer. The only downside is that they cover a lot of area so will tend to show if you wear a v-neck or a wide neck shirt.
Customer Review: comfortable, supportive, runs small
This bra gives lots of coverage, almost like a tankini, and has wider straps than other bras. I’m about 40 D and find that the extra large is just right, but barely! I find it to be supportive - more so than “sleeping bras”- but it is stretchy and super comfortable. You can release the strap with one hand, which is very important, but it requires two hands to re-attach. The latch is a slide configuration rather than a hook or snap.
